Its A Piece Of Rubber That You Glue Down!

There is more than one way to fit this system. The fully bonded method where the rubber membrane can be fully bonded directly to your new or cleaned decking with no underlay required -or - the ballasted option where you simply sweep your roof clean of any grit/sharp objects etc. lay the underlay on top of an old felt or any rough surface, then roll out the rubber membrane over this. Glue round the sides, up stands and edges etc. then use 20mm well rounded ballast/shingle, patio slabs or timber decking. Cover using any weighted object to hold the rubber in place, job done!

1)    It really is not a difficult job to do which you will find out once you view the training DVD.

2)   Also check the membrane size with actual building prior ordering better too big than too small.

3)   We can only supply the rubber to the nearest 0.5m so I may round your measurements up.

4)  The rubber weight is approx 1.5kg/1sqm.

5)   The edge trims are mainly a cosmetic feature which where necessary can give the whole project that professional finish.

6)   The rubber membrane is dark slate grey to simulate lead work.

7)  The weatherwise is only used for gluing the stones to the gutter drip edge on the ballasted system.

8) Sometimes strange shapes or obstacles can obstruct the normal fitting of the membrane. Here is a diagram of how to overcome these obstacles.

 Delivery can take up to a week but is normally 2 to 3 working days depending on order size and area post code.
