Artificial Grass is a great way to achieve a lawned area very quickly. Our material has a 9mm ‘curled’ pile in an attractive green colour with a soft feel, which makes it a favourite for conservatories, patios and balconies. Will never dis-colour, fade, easy to clean with every day basic cleaning fluid and brush or vacuum cleaner. Is also an excellent putting surface for those wishing to improve their golf and is an attractive and practical surround for a swimming pool and other features. It comes in 2 metre and 4 metre wide rolls of up to 40 metres in length. We are happy to supply both the 2 metre and the 4metre wide rolls cut to the nearest 0.5metres in length to suit your personal requirements. This can be delivered any where within 2 to 3 working days any where within the British main land. Because it comes in 2m and 4m wide rolls and cut to the nearest 0.5m it is therefore necessary to carefully work out the lengths and widths you require, to minimise wastage. It may help to work but your requirements on a squared paper. It is easily joined using our joint tape and glue gun adhesive with invisible seams possible because of the pile.
The grass may be laid directly onto any suitable hard sub surface. If new sub-surface is being constructed to take the matting a slight fall (1:200 is ideal) should be incorporated to assist drainage. Porous (open textured) macadam is particularly suitable as a sub base for all types of synthetic grassed areas. Paving slabs are not satisfactory, since after a period of time the pattern of the slabs will show on the surface of the grass. The slabs should be removed or covered with a thick layer of course sand. Well compacted unbound aggregate stone based are ideal for synthetic lawn areas where built from scratch. Any unbound surface which drains well and is stable is perfect for Artificial Grass.
